i run mw 3 and give this code error any help?

I am already through the campaign, game works flawless for me. But none of my system files is corrupted and my hardware is in pristine shape.

I was having the same issue since playing the beta. The exact same error. Certain files were being corrupted upon each launch it looked like. What worked for me was a complete reinstall of steam itself. After doing that my game surprisingly launched! The only downside is you'll have to re download all your games, unless you have them installed on another drive.

This was most likely due to a DLC unlocker I had for Black ops 3 zombies. It helped with the awful stuttering in that game. It really screwed up steam configuration tho so if you have anything like that remove it as well.

I tried all the solutions and all of them did not solve the problem and the specifications of my pc : cpu: AMD ryzen 5 7600X
gpu: RTX 3080 10GB OC , 546.01v
RAM: 16GB
DirectX 12
SSD m.2 nmve 2tb
all updated

For those with the 1338 error try following, it definitely should work.

1 . Open the editor on your pc and copy this into your editor:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options/mp23-cod.exe/PerfOptions]

"CpuPriorityClass"="00000003"

2. Save the file on your desktop as: COD.reg (choose file: all files)

3. Double Click the File on your desktop then a message appears. Click on Yes

4. Fire up COD from Steam

the only fix that works for me when I get this error is to delete steam and reinstall it. Just delete everything inside the steam install folder except for steam.exe and the steamapps folder, and then open steam.exe after deleting all files and it should automatically reinstall steam. Just log in now and it should be fixed. I get this error almost any time there is an in game update (mid-season, new season, etc.), but I believe it may be an issue with COD HQ reading the license

Ask customer service on the steam COD Store page to permanently remove WARZONE from my account
