Is it necessary to have warzone to play modern warfare 3?
I am only downloading modern warfare 3 and it is 87 GB, is it necessary for me to also download warzone? or will it work independently?

No, you can right click the game, go to properties then additional content (last option) and disable Warzone.

doesnt work it still loads warzone
