If it assist you in a way that is uneven to other players, then yes it is cheating. If it requires specific hardware for you to use said assist, then it is similar to GameShark or similar devices, which can be fun in their own right in single player games (or couch co-op) but with competitive games, then no different then getting an edge through another program. If those who wish to use aim assist, then that's fine, let them match with others who use aim assist. Similar to weight classes in boxing, wrestling or any other sport. Don't match those who don't use aim assist with those who do, like a lightweight with a heavy weight, its not even. Or if you do, call out the handicap and score accordingly.

It's a tremendous aimlock so yes... it's a cheat from here to Próxima Centauri

I think it should be removed, I refuse to play the game because this game has it, ruins the fun for me and many others. Used to play bf hardcore servers because this was disabled. Nowadays I can not even do that

removed. past cods never had aim assist or aimlock. this pandering crap solely exists to make their gamepass buyers happy and to compensate for the fact that console controllers have never gotten better.

so remove it or separate inputs in matches

the fact that if you used this aim assist and aimlock with a mouse youd be banned says it all

they had aim asisst but not that strong like in mw2

2019 allowed you to mostly separate lobbies by input. Not sure why it was changed.

At this point, im not sure if they have an active enough playerbase to do it though.

Even with all systems playing the same lobbies, u see the same players constantly.

It isn’t cheating, but it’s unfair for those who don’t have it, mkb players and controller players should play in different lobbies, putting everyone together is what results in people being angry about the aim assist, as mkb player I would obliterate any controller player easily, unless we go CQB, in that case the aim assist will destroy me. Keeping distance is the best way to fight controller players

below Average controller players can defeat average MNK players in the majority of close-range shooting battles,Until aim assist nerfed or Mnk gets separate lobbies, there is no skill gap in game
