Random ahh game ban

Today was the first time I actually downloaded this game and ran it but I have an active ban? Wtf is this bum ass game giving me a game ban record when today was the first time I've actually ran this game. I used to play on a dookie GT 1030 prebuilt PC and tried running this game and it wouldn't work. Now I have a better PC and I installed it today to run it but I'm immediately under review and a few hours later permanently banned. What could I have possibly done since I've never been in a single warzone match (I dont even own COD MW2)

And before people start jumping me saying "you cheated and got banned lol" I don't even touch this game. I spent nearly 3 hours trying to figure out why I couldn't find a match to learn that I'm shadowbanned (account was under review the second I launched cod HQ I guess). Not an alt account since I've never had a PC/laptop that could run COD before now. Maybe someone in my house played warzone and got IP banned but Idk. This is just wild since I didn't even do shi but now I got a game ban record + can't even play warzone.

lol it doesn’t matter what you say, people think they’re experts and know your whole life story and will start shaming you for cheating 🤣🤣🤣. i suggest goin to activision website and apply for an unban appeal, or jus do what i’m doing, which is refunding the game. Call of Duty is the ONLY game i hear about when it comes to false bans and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it happens to SO many people with even 0 matches played, 0 game time, with 0 K/D. and they still get denied. personally i would jus get a refund and leave it at that. as much as i love the actual gameplay, i cannot come back to a game where it’s devs have the WORST customer service and couldn’t give 2 ♥♥♥♥♥ about the consumers. dishing out false bans for nada

i didn't even buy the game (MW2/3) I just downloaded cod hq to try out warzone so im not sure what refunding will even do. Fr though I don't have a single warzone match but I get handed a game ban/perma ban just for downloading and launching the game. I did make an appeal and it's been a few hours but hopefully by tmmrw I can get this resolved.

If you got handed a permaban the moment you launched the game, you have already been banned in previous titles. The bans carry over, regardless of platform. Cheated on PS? Banned in Steam. And so on.

But you know this right?

Ok but I don't have a PS account linked to my steam account, I don't even play COD on my PS5. Can't possibly think of any other thing that would give me a permaban immediately.

i figured out why I was banned actually, turns out my dumb ahh had SMAC address (mac address changer) enabled and it banned me the second i launched due to that.

That happened to me in warzone 1. I didn't even get to play and it got me shadow banned (never found out why).

a spoofer completely unrelated to cod and something i've been using before i even installed this game, but yeah i'm 100% certain its what banned me and idk what to do now. so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid

for my case I used SMAC mac address changer, had left a random mac address on and It was on when i first launched so that probably flagged something. guess i'll just spam their ticket system till they do something

Mac spoofers dont spoof anything for programs that you're running on your system. The mac address is spoofed for those connecting to your device. Its a security feature.

I think their player base is just fine. In fact it just got even better.

Mw19 i rarely seen the same player twice in 1 week. And crossplay was optional.

In mw22, i see the same cheaters every few matches, for months on end, and crossplay cant be turned off.

Sure looks like its more than just my friends who vowed to stop buying these fúcking games.
