whast the best mode for new players to warzone?

I have almost 1k hours in pubg (my only br game) so i was wondering whats the best for starters new palyers to play to get the feel of t he game?

for more of a mix of pve and pvp, dmz is a good option and has events going on atm as well for good loot to gear your operator up.

resurgence is quite fun, i even managed to get 11 kills. I like how this game compared to pubg forces you to be aggressive, it only kinda sucks the sound of enemy footsteps, its not as crisp as in pubg and 90% of time i cant tell where the enemy is exactly but im slowly getting the feel to it. Its quite fun. So far i noticed that most of people either use smgs and ar;s snipers and shotguns are kinda situational and not that popular for some reason.

and dmz it's fantastic for learning the mechanics of warzone. also, u have missions and all maps available, even two more maps not available in battleroyale. those two dmz exclusive maps are building 21 and koschei complex.

dmz is a 3 players gamemode, lockdown and battleroyale is a 4 man gamemode.

ok this may seema little it dumb but how do i access lockdown and plunder? only cod i own mw from 2007 and i have only the f2p version of warzone. Are those 2 modes available only if u purchased modern warfare remakes?
