The Application has Unexpectedly Stopped Working.
Ive been trying to start Call of Duty for a week now. I keep getting the same error.

"Allow Steam to Verify the integrity of your game files the next time you start the game.
This process will take a few minutes but it might solve your current issue.

Error Code: 0x00001338 (12005) N

Executable: game_steam_ship.exe"

I have verified my files multiple times and it keeps saying "31 files failed to load but will be validated". Everything else I have tried does not work. Does anyone know a fix to this?

Go in file explorer and find Documents\Call of Duty\players

Go to options.4.cod23.cst in notepad

Find RendererWorkerCount:1.0 =

Set the number as the same amount of physical cores as your CPU or 1 less than that number.

Save file

Set VRAM Target in game to 80, not 90

This should solve your crashes
