Sounds like power failure on the PSU. Limit the game's fps to 60 or even 30fps to lower the power strain and see if it's still happens.
Okay thanks ! I have windows 10 and have to keep 10 on my pc for work purposes . I’ll look for the windows 10 equivalent
Hi, in my experience as an IT professional, this behaviour is due to CPU temperature: it is CPUs "protection measure" against high temperature damage: it shuts down suddendly.
You can try to check and validate your cpu fan / cooling system and if everything is working properly, re apply thermal paste to your CPU, check air flow in your PC case (ie intake from the front fans, exhaust at the back), maybe keep your PC case open and test. Maybe is worth giving a shot at this.
Good luck!

Do new ryzen's still need ryzen controller the app? to manage their use across temps, all cores usage etc
OP you should download HWMonitor and check to see the temps of your PC 'cuz if it does get too hot the PC will shut down/restart. If that's the case it's likely the problem is your cooling.
