"Players who receive voice chat warnings or in-game voice communication penalties can still play the game. However, per the Offensive Behavior section of the Call of Duty Security and Enforcement Policy(going into this sections describes the shadowban complaints people have), extreme or repeated offenses may lead to a permanent suspension from playing the game online."
https://support.activision.com/articles/call-of-duty-security-and-enforcement-policy
Grieving, glitching, offensive behavior, boosting, spoofing, pirated content, messing with their anti-cheat files, modding/hacking, unsupported peripherals devices and applications, Malicious Reporting, and many others listed can lead to a shadow ban or further penalties.
"Account in a limited matchmaking state: If a player is suspected of violating this policy, their account may be put into a limited matchmaking state.
Accounts in this state may be matched with other accounts in a similar state.
Members of a player's party may also experience limited matchmaking while partied with a player in this state.
At any time, the account may be returned to normal matchmaking, placed in a limited matchmaking state again, or it may receive a temporary or permanent ban.
A minor offense is one in which no quantifiable damage has been done to another player or the game community at large.
Temporary suspensions can range from 48 hours to two weeks or longer, depending on the severity of the infraction.
Permanent suspensions are lasting and final, and can apply across titles, including past, present, or future titles in the Call of Duty franchise. In some cases, players with a permanent suspension on their account may also be unable to purchase Call of Duty games.
An extreme offense is one in which a player has caused detriment to other players or has organized large groups of players to commit additional offenses."
but okay.
"Account in a limited matchmaking state: If a player is suspected of violating this policy, their account may be put into a limited matchmaking state."
This means nothing because they have suspected me 5 different times without me being guilty, which isn't justifiable and its insane that you think that it is.
The worst part is, You have no idea how it works and I do but because activison is tell you it works like this you think it actually does lol.
Regardless of what I say you're going to defend activison lol.
talking to you about it isn't productive and I'm not going to continue because you are choosing to be ignorant on the topic.
Cod mw3 do things work how activison tells you they do tune in at 9 to find out
Really, I find it hard to believe that people have 0, absolutely zero idea what could have got them banned and that the only reason is players mad at you for being too good. If that is the case, then why play a game that is so bad? Ranting on steam is not going to help, they don't actively respond or read these forums. So either reach out to them via support if that claim is truly false, or just take that shadowban time to look at the terms of services and their other polices that you are breaking. I really only replied because this whole thread is laughable, even more so because it seems like everyone ranting have no clue what the COC rules are.
and you've proven you don't care about reading what I said with this last reply because you think even posted how they use the shadow ban system
"Account in a limited matchmaking state: If a player is suspected of violating this policy, their account may be put into a limited matchmaking state." Do you understand what suspected means? If I was guilty they would of punished me, meaning they I was falsely accused and put into temporary custody 5 different times for a crime I didnt commit.
And you are fine with that lol.
Put into temporary custody? Sounds like you got banned, or put into a limited state, aka what people in COD called shadowban, because thier MS ping goes up and they are put in weird lobbies, if this didn't happen to you. Then you weren't shadow ban and just banned. Shadowban you can still play but you are kept away from the regualr loot pool of players, hence the shadow part. Either you got shadowbanned or you didn't.
You are litreally fighting with activisons own terminology on the system right now that you posted.
If I was guilty of a crime then I would be more then shadow banned, As they have stated IN EVERY SINGLE EMAIL
"As I checked, I confirmed that the account is currently under review by the Security Team. If infractions are found on the account during this period, it will result in a permanent ban. However, if no infractions are found, everything will return back to normal."
"Please note that if your account appears to be under review, it means that your account is being reviewed by the Security Team. If infractions are found on the account during this period, it will result in a permanent ban. However, if no infractions are found, everything will return back to normal."
"After looking into your account, it appears that the account is currently under review by the Security Team. If infractions are found on the account during this period, it will result in a permanent ban. However, if no infractions are found, everything will return back to normal. "
"After looking into your account, I was able to confirm that your account is currently under review by the Security Team. If infractions are found on the account during this period, it will result in a permanent ban. However, if no infractions are found, everything will return back to normal."
"Moreover, take note that the account review is not permanent and once the security team completes the review, you should be able to experience the normal matchmaking lobbies. In the meantime, what we can only recommend is to wait until the review is over. We know that this situation may be inconvenient for you, and we hope that you understand our limitation to further assist. "
I wish you chose to understand that this isn't by activison's standard of how they have their employee's train implies that it is not meant to be a punishment. Not only that even in the imaginary world where you think I did something wrong, IF I did, wouldn't they be more inclined to tell me so I know what I did so I could stop doing it?
IF you get accused of a crime or commit a crime in real life you get told what you did and getting prosecuted for
Any other time I've been punished in any other game, I've been told why.
I remember your videos. You definitely weren't banned for "being too good". You screeched throughout the ones you didn't strip the audio from.
And for someone who claims they don't use the mic or chat in game, why is your steam profile full of comments from people calling you out for throwing slurs at them in game? You even make fun of people that can't handle being called ******* at the start of the match.
Pretty cut and dried.
People that don't change their toxic behavior, or see nothing wrong with it in the first place, are usually the ones in "shadowban loop".
This may help you understand your grief.
1. Denial
2. Anger
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5. Acceptance
Which stage are you still at?
I also LIVED STREAMED THE BANS and invited you to watch and you refused.
Keep making excuses for activisons poor security systems.
Like how are you possibly supporting awful systems that punish people who have done nothing wrong.
You can also watch how I interact with teammates in one of my videos, I do not call them anything racial or homophobic. The people complaints on my profile is because I am allowing you to see, You wouldn't know what thats like because you are scared of letting people see what they would say about you, That's why your profile is private.
Hint. The bad word I said didn't say with a F, It started with a T.
Team mates? You claimed earlier in this thread you play solos, so didn't use comms.
Now you want us to see how you interact with teammates?
"Hey look at this video, I'm not toxic in this one".
Maybe while you are at it you can post a video of every game you have ever played.
You don't use a mic and aren't toxic? Yet your profile is full of people calling you exactly that in game.
What a shocker. Someone banned who can't get their story straight.
Stage #1.
but you're scared of the reality of that.
Its not the one video
Its every video I was shadow banned in, You can watch all my youtube videos
You could of watched my streams, And you would of seen I don't insult people at all.
Yet you don't care because any proof that activison's system doesn't care about toxicity would prove you wrong and being ignorant is better then being wrong according to you.
Even in a universe where I was magically toxic or that the shadow ban system cares about you being toxic, does that warrent 5 shadow bans even after I stopped being toxic and the only reason I stopped getting shadow banned is PURELY due to me NOT PLAYING.
Aaah the private profile argument. Looks like we need another step. #Deflection
Your story has more twists than a pretzel. From not toxic at all to "generally not toxic"
Maybe another step is needed for #Downplay. Probably follows #Denial.
And Activision don't care about toxicity? Tell that to the over 2,000,000 accounts ToxMod has already flagged in less than 2 months. All without reports.
https://support.activision.com/articles/call-of-duty-voice-chat-moderation
Besides the fact you are still ignoring that you have no proof of me being toxic within COD, You have had free access to my gameplay but refused to actually look for real proof, Yet here you are doing everything in your power to avoid having your game play and opinions on you silenced because god forbid people should be able to speak their mind.
I never stated activison doesn't care about toxicity I stated Shadow ban does not consider toxicity.
There's not twists, I play games like csgo and dota 2 which are team games, where I communicate my team who make fun of people. Not in cod.
Comparing apples and oranges like you always do.
