"Offensive chat warning" - What?

All I've said in game is "GLHF" and "WP"... WP even gets censored.
What am I missing? Is the censor just random?

There is a very well known report abuse going on in this game since the start sadly. If you're doing well you can be spam reported and get punished. I do the same thing practically and got shadow banned, got a warning my name was offensive, and been on a mic ban multiple times.

This alone really killed my enjoyment of the game. The devs don't acknowledge it despite the countless people coming out and saying how they're being banned/reported. Few well known youtubers been on and off shadow bans too for simply being really good.

Yeah, was giving someone a fun time and they decided to report me. Funny thing is, my chat and voice stuff is like completely turned off.

ONLY WAY YOU GET BANED is if your cheating in 1 form or anouther even if you know it or not dont use moded hardware ingame and that will fix a lot this includes softwere built in to your mouse / keybord to inprove your game play / even fps patches can trigger the anti cheat

I've seen text chat get show censorship marks for some really weird/random innocent stuff, including common game abbreviations like "WP" which has meant "well played" for as long as I can remember...?!

Wrong. You can be shadowbanned without cheating.

Had warnings come up today saying that my name was offensive & I'd been warned over offensive chat/VOIP? Yet I don't even have my mic/VOIP turned on or use chat at all?
Another issue that has arisen since the latest patch. Not sure what the dev team are doing over there, I'd say smoking meth by the current state of this game. They have managed to completely trash a game that was running fine 2 weeks ago. Might be time to give BF2042 another chance.... Probably not much better.

Doesn't matter what you say in chat or if you don't even use it at all. You can always become a target of random mass report. But by using chat you make yourself more "visible" and attract needless attention from crybabies.
