Yeah it's quite sad that a bit of in game banter these days is treated as harshly as cheating. R6: Siege is straight up banning players permanently for toxicity. Do people get that butthurt they feel the need to report someone instead of just blocking their mic/chat, which - gasp! - has been standard method of dealing with toxicity in games for years? I guess so.
I certainly will agree a big part of the problem is what people view as toxic anymore. Too many Karens screaming at the clouds for no reason only muddies the waters.
I thought I was shadowban for some reason?
I stand by the fact that I have never used a single cheat, this can also be said by my Steam account which has not had a single game ban that I have been using for more than 15 years...
On you i see shadow bans work.
You are a player i dont want have in my lobby.
I'm not saying people shouldn't use the chat function, I'm saying they should mute offending players.
Mordhau had a long problem of racism and general toxicity in the chat and they did the best thing they could have ever done; just give players mute buttons or the option to turn everything someone says into cheerful gibberish, so they don't waste time and resources chasing a pointless problem: people will always be toxic in online games.
