COD Points gone???

I'm missing 8000+ Cod Points from my account, i have only noticed that after earning cod points from the battle pass and my balance being just those 100cp. Anyone else having that issue??? I already contacted activision support.

Nevermind, I found a fix; reconnecting my network seems to do the trick. It is a bug, indeed.

I closed the game, reconnected to my wifi, then open the game, and lo and behold, my missing CP returned.

Just so everyone here understands.
I can now see this is a clear bug on the devs that makes the cod points get sent to an "alternate account" parallel to yours. You may notice your balance is gone as your "alt account" shows you having only 100, then 200, then 300 COD points and so on every time you redeem them. It is fixed when you reboot but any cod points from the battle pass are gone and stuck on your "alt account". I highly recommend not spending your battle pass tokens on cod points if you can avoid it until they fix this.

How on earth they manage these kinds of things is beyond me.

Oh and as an added question. How many of you is using the auto feature on the battle pass? Wonder if this is exclusive to the auto mode.

I finished the BP on auto and now I'm realizing I did not receive any points at all. What is this "alternative account" you mention? Can we access it? I contacted support, waiting to hear from them.

There's no actual account. For some reason when you get cod points in the BP (specifically in auto?) your cod point balance gets set to 0+however many cod points you got after the bug started happening. For example my balance is 3100 and my "alt account" has 200 points because I redeemed two cod points during the bug.

I'm not sure how activision is going to handle this issue once it's patched but I'd say just wait until they have an official patch for it and if you still didn't get the missing points only then contact support.

Ah cheers lad, I understand what you mean. Have you tried logging through battle.net? There is a small chance CPs appearing when logged in through bnet account. I have a slow connection so I will download the game on bnet app tonight and check tomorrow.

I do not even play MW2 on Battlenet. I only played cold war on it.

Same things happened with me, I've fully completed the battlepass and I'm 400 points short, it's bizarre. Reset the broadband, PC, redownloaded, nothing.

Once you reboot the game it'll go back to how it was minus the season cod points.

i have a feeling its an auto feature. i recieved 200 CPs that i claimed manually but i didnt get the ones i should have from the auto feature. is there a word from these guys ?
