Flicking is the only real advantage a mouse player has over controller, but TRACKING is what wins fights, not flicks. A human using a mouse cannot TRACK a target better than aim assist can. You literally cannot miss 1 shot when fighting an aim assisted opponent or else you're dead.
t. 700hrs+ 3.50KD mouse player.
We KB/M players are literally playing DarkSouls with no room for error.
adding aim assist for pc would not solve the problem.
Then there would be no skill required at all. the aim assist does it for you.
The game has an option called "Cross-Play." if you kept it on the console and PC players are on the same server. If you turned it off they weren't. What is so had about that Activision? With the number of active players still online from what I see this would work. Gives the players an option to mix it up or not. Devs would need to disable aim assist for the controller on PC-installed games though. If you think about it playing on PC with a controller with aim assist gives that player a huge advantage. From most vids and posts I have read about this game since its release even the most experienced PC players have said the only way to compete against console players is to switch to a controller.
