I cleared the download cache of STEAM, & verified the game files, restarted my router/modem, restarted my PC, and then steam downloaded (by it self) "Steamworks Common Redistributables" & it worked...
I was searching for this and came across this thread. Although I am on Series X and getting the same message. Restarted the router and checked stuff though I know things are fine. I can play games online on my Series X but not this game. Just started doing this today. I tried a game on PC and it was fine as well. No reason for this.

Also, you can play with many people on the same connection without this. At least you could. Yesterday I had 5 people on COD on my connection playing together. I have a 2 gig up/down connection and it was fine. I had already uninstalled and reinstalled due to an error when the recent game update was pushed out. Going to keep looking for a solution.

I think it's all about the "Steamworks Common Redistributables" try to reinstall it or fix it.
same here bruh did any of u guys solve this?
Got the same. Anybody has a solution for it?
Guys download proton Vpn ( a free vpn provider kinda the best i found ) and use it to play, i have no other way to play it other thans this

PS: i you disconnected after connecting with VPN you can connect with your normal internet provider
No solution previously it happened has to play with VPN it works on VPN somehow no idea why. But, sometime I play on different network (mobile hotspot) its working and intermittently my same ISP working fine. This happened in Rainbow Six Siege as well which latest patch fixed
Clear Steam Download Cache and then Steam downloads Steamworks Common Redistributales. It starts automatically. That‘s it.
