I don't know if they ever tampered with the actual speed of battlepass token earnings, but I think a lot of people forget that Season 1 was a full month longer than any other seasons. To me it felt it was the perfect amount of time to comfortably finish the battlepass.

The current length of seasons mean there is no chance I would finish any of them because it would require me to play way more than I do. I feel seasons should be longer, or token earning should be faster.

most seasons are two months give or take a couple weeks, im unsure how much you play but ive been playing a couple weekends adn ive completed it in about 30h

i mainly play shipment so its constant 50+ kills per match and pretty fast matches, it feels random imho though on how much you gain ive had high kill games with hardly any movement on the bar and ive had literate ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rounds that i gain over one level its kinda weird

i stopped playing in march and came back a month ago, at least for a couple days i loved the game im slowly getting annoyed with it again lol

im personally looking forward to assassins creed as a break from cod until mw3 and then Pandora in December but im still looking forward to mw3 just not pre ordering it

Well to be fair it makes sense. I think the plan was a 2 game release where year 2 was the og multiplayer maps. It makes no sense that you release mw3 and try to tell me that it makes sense to make it come out with all the mw2 maps. Also the campaign sounds like the spec ops missions. We will see.

my guess with the mw2 maps was it was going to be a dlc for mw2 but maybe sledgehammer completed the next game early or something, i think it was said that the release maps are OG mw2 maps with all new maps coming during sessions.
lets be honest most of the OG mw3 maps wasn't that good imho, maybe village and arkaden and underground was decent others was just meh.

I disagree. I loved most of the maps outside of interchange and downturn. Also the dlc maps were mostly good. It does not make sense that mw2 maps get made and mw3 release with the maps from 2 . That is why i say they changed plan. My hunch is kotick was afraid to lose money with the og plan. A dev even came out saying that they were worried the change of plan would affect the games quality.

Reminds me when konami made a game called room 147 and because they tought it would not sell the renamed it silent hill 4. These people dont respect games or franchises.

It isn’t random. Your battle pass levels by the amount of time you played. Set a stopwatch to the amount of in-game time you’re spending. That’s literally it. Go AFK on a DMZ map and tab out and you’ll come back to see your pass went way up

I’ve completed the battlepass for all 5 seasons, 1200 hours in game. It’s the same speed.

Oh sorry I didn’t realise you had a whole 1.2 hours playtime. I defer to your experience as someone who has obviously tested this theory rigorously over such an extended period….
