games crashes without error
done anything trying to fix it nothing seems to work

Basic;

Make sure you have +35 GB free space on sysdisc C: (for temp files, shaders loading)

If the game is on another disc, you need 10% more free space then the game size with the updates included. Remember all updates are downloaded to sysdisc first.

Update bios and other drivers on MB.
You should have program for this from MB manufactor.

You run windows and steam as and Admin???

Close game. Clear download catche in steam settings. Steam restarts.

Disable any overclocking. disable XMP and set it to a fix speed as max of the sticks.



Optional for network (game closed):

No antivirus/firewall blocking subservices.
See that IPv6 is enebled in PC and router.


Optional For performance (game closed):

Then browse to this in; Documents/call of duty/players - open this file in notepad;

options.3.cod22.cst - Set the X between 4-16, depending on how many treads your cpu have. Test different settings. SAVE file after every changes and close it.

// Enables the async compute for specific cases

I had same issue, game just drops out for no reason, also had freeze ups, Follow the video instructions below to rebuild corrupt game files. I followed this video and game has been running fine so far.

POS just crashed in game and time verify game files for the one hundredth time.
Monkeys would make better quality assurance personnel.

Try turning XMP off in the bios, XMP was causing a memory leak in MW2 for me!!

ive found my game crashes a lot less if i turn off steam overlay and discord overlay. hope it helps

Welcome to CoD. I can only play when the game allows me to play. Been playing for 7-8 days with no issues, started crashing to desktop without any crash logs yesterday even though I played earlier that day. I tried everything online, literally, nothing. Talked to the support, they said they'd relay the issue to their superiors and contact me as soon as possible.

Blows my mind that a multi billion dollar company can't even make a game run. It's been crashing (on startup, safe mode window literally disappears it crashes so fast) since the newest season has dropped. Absolutely insane.

I have better specs than most people (i9 9900k, rtx3090 & 32gb of ram) and I simply can't run the game. Every time I verify on steam I get 43 corrupted files but even verifying doesn't do it. Nothing does. I gotta wait weeks now, for a new patch, and cross my fingers that the update actually does anything. It can either fix it or not fix it.

And they charge like 70€ for CoD MW3, which is built on the same trashy engine they got. Literally unplayable. Actually incompetent devs imo. Don't buy MW3
