New update means Permanent ban??

So, I was randomly Permanently banned by the game not steam? and have no clue why. Is this a common problem? All I know is, I recently got a PC for college, tried maybe 2 games and got completely wrecked and came to the conclusion my pc cannot handle warzone, between the lag and the graphics. It has good specs for college but not games.

Checked my ps5 because if I ever play WZ it is on PS5. When I turned on my ps5 WZ needed an update and then it says I am permanently banned, user error etc. On steam it said Perma ban not Vac banned (VAC=Cheating ban). It let me appeal the decision, but I read some posts and apparently people are either lying or almost nobody wins an appeal. The only time I play warzone is on rare occasion to connect with a friend of mine. I don't talk to anyone outside of our party,

I don't use any outside software, the only thing different is I logged onto WZ from my new school laptop as previously mentioned and added my phone number to steam. It just makes no sense unless maybe its related to this big update it was trying to get me to download at the same time.
To add, I have never had any sort of warnings, prior bans etc from COD/Activision or steam for any reason what-so-ever.

Most cheaters don't put money into the game they're about to cheat in.

Most people in a discussion are capable of general thought process during a response also. Your unsubstantiated and illiterate response will have to suffice though.
Once I get this error corrected I will be back to gloat, which will happen. Seeing how critical thinking or self thought doesn't seem to prevalent within your own train of thought.
Evidence of which is especially obvious considering the fact you did not consider any variables or outside factors or even inquire about any. You simply default to common rhetoric and exacerbate in your response due to the inability to form your own conclusion, which on the contrary gives a well supported conclusion that you are completely incapable of intellectual thought or thinking for yourself, much like a potato or rock.

To assume my account is used for hacking based upon a discussion' generalization as a means of trolling, especially considering how common of a issue unjust bans are in Warzone, more specifically to my research and knowledge, is mainly due to outsourcing AI and detection software flaws. My account which, by the way is years old, with over a 100 hours of game time in halo alone, and a entire ban history of 1, which is the ban mentioned prior in this post. To add, my game-play time in the aforementioned Warzone has a total of 10 minutes give or take.
Anyways, you should try thought process for a change, it's fun. I couldn't imagine having your perspective or point of view, it would be absolutely boring and depressing.

Sure, I'll bite. My response, is not wrong. Dead stop. A lot of cheaters simply don't put money into their account when they cheat because they know it'll be a waste of time. If your ban is false and you get unbanned congratulations. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a false ban. My friend has also been false banned, but at the start of the game's launch. However, in most cases, cheaters look just like your account. So sorry that I'm one of many who aren't holding their breath.

Your account age is COMPLETELY irrelevant as well. Another dead stop moment. Accounts can be bought for dirt cheap + idle hours. This is an issue with CS:GO's community and has been for years. People will buy old accounts and start cheating or do so to look more legitimate. Regardless of the reasons, like I said, it's irrelevant about your hours or account age. Someone who's so based in logic probably would have thought about that before trying to use it as an argument point.

Then finally, you should take it to their support team, not Steam. Maybe read the rules before making a post since trying to argue/discuss your ban isn't allowed. You, once again someone totally based on logic, should realize us believing you will NOT get you unbanned. Dead stop moment 3.

well private profile no avatar and i guess mw2 is the only game on your acc. Right now your profile is a red flag since most of the cheater that got banned have similar profiles like you. And why do you write on steam if you don t even own the game on steam at all

I was randomly banned as well. Only thing that changed was I switched internet providers and downloaded the newest patch and bam, I'm banned. Gives me no reason, cannot appeal. I am considering suing the company for my battlepass and game purchase money back and I think enough people have the right to sue and get their money back after getting wrongfully banned. It's SO frustrating to be given ZERO reason.

So how do you know you are banned?

Well, about 5 minutes into my first game on my new internet which I have been excited all week to try, drops me to the menu. Then I just can't join any game after that. So I check online and only thing that seems to match is shadowban. So I checked the activision website with my account and tried the appeal link and it said my account cannot be appealed and its under review for a potential violation. Doesn't say what violation, doesn't give me a link to chat with anyone or reach out to ask more questions or anything at all. I started checking forums to see if anyone else was having the same issue and have found forum posts like this one and am trying to find answers, man. I paid for this game, I bought a new monitor to play it. I bought the battlepasses and now they strip me of all of that with no reason and no timeline or anything. It sucks. Then I try to find more info on it and get trolls and haters telling me I'm a cheater! You want to really boil peoples blood, then do that to them and watch how people snap. Don't push people over the edge like that. Don't assume everyone is a liar and cheating the system.

So you really are clueless. Do you even know what zero steam level is?

And if you are shadowbanned you can still play the game. Just not with normal players. Only naughty ones.

People like you are the reason why the community is toxic as hell. This is a place to look for help, not get harassed. edit: no I don't know what zero level is, I assume it means you have no games and no time on steam.

You don't get perma banned, by accident. You would have been shadow banned a few times beforehand, and there would be a clear reason for the perma ban, unlike shadow bans where no reason is given, but is lifted after 7 days.

Why you would come to the steam forums to complain, there is nothing anyone here can do, and will you get no sympathy here. Perma bans are not given out lightly.

Shadow bans are however. lol
