Uninstall the game.
Regardless of what you think about the politics, I would recommend most of you to just uninstall the game. This is one of those rare opportunities we can pressure Activision into actually making a decent game. They will soon see the money dry up and will have no excuse to not listen to the community.

It's easier and healthier to quit a game, than torture yourself with their BS

dawg you just click a button and it removes the game from your pc. you have put in more effort writing that comment than it does to delete the video game

Do you think asking crack addicts to abruptly stop smoking crack is going to work, regardless of them knowing it's killing them?

Apply that principle here, most COD players are severely addicted, and cannot quit. That's what Activision capitalises on, and that's why they are able to make so much profit through evil actions and MTX cancer.

It's unlikely that enough people will ever quit to make real change. This game is addictive, and many people create content for it and earn money from it, making quitting impossible.

steam lost almost all of its original active players. that alone should be enough to prove a point to Acti

Sorry to disappoint you but Activision already has our money. It already made an excess of 1 billion dollars just from the launch alone.

Do you really think you are able to "pressurize" or "boycott" them to do anything? As long as you can convince the literal tens of millions of other people to not buy the next CoD, then you might be able to do a difference. Good luck with that. There is a reason why the skins cost 20-30+ euros or dollars per piece - not because Activision is greedy (they are) but because people are buying them which is beyond sad...

I do agree, MW2 was a bait and switch scam from the very beginning. There was a reason why they decided to launch the campaign one week early - to divert the attention away from the lackluster multiplayer support and other bugs and issues, including the god horrible user interface.

I do like to think that most people that used to play video games on steam since 2006 or so, simply are juist to bussy in real life and it has for the large majority, nothing to do with activission or politics? Let alone... steam forums arnt even visited by 0.1% of steam users...
