samsung 980 pro M2 Nvme 1to+win11
27,8' va monitor 2560x1440p fixed @ 144htz
the fact is to play at max settings is a joke : the game is UNOPTIMISED for PC players !
auto settings let my settings beetween high/ultra but this was just catastrophic !!!
many crashes, Steam App errors, DX errors, sound sux with steps, etc...
got nearly 110/120 ips at the beginnig with all crashes that i mentionned (crossplay with my pals on PS5/Xbox was worst...)
i use this guide for fix it (sorry if its in french) :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGetzYfZG9E
now i can play normally, without crashes and the games is not so degrated with those settings (i kept some of differents for a better visual experience according to my opinion)
my ips are 90/100 still on 1440p @ 144htz
hope this help
this would help too, tips was given by someone else in this forum !
Basically there are no good GPU options on the market right now from Nvidia, because 3060 12GB might be too slow for 1440p, but the next option is 4070 which is over twice as expensive ATM.
If you want to play COD in 1440p it's best to get Radeon 6700 XT or 6800, this game runs better on Radeon and you don't need RT in MP games.
TL:DR; forget about max settings and high textures on a 8GB GPU.
Hi there, really?
I have watched some benchmarks with RTX 3070 and it seemed to hold up max settings @ 1440P really well. I can lower the texture quality if needed, no problem.
What I am really interested in is the stability of the game. Some people say it never crashes, some say that it is full of holes.
For me it crashed twice in like month and a half, I uninstalled the game because of garbage matchmaking giving me long streaks of bad games where I had negative k/d.
I think the stability issues come from convoluted game interface that probably has memory leaks, texture streaming that sometimes is unable to load textures (very easy to break, just browse battle pass so fast textures have no time to load, eventually they stop loading at all until restart of game) and if you run out of VRAM then texture loading gets even slower and eventually it might lead to a crash.
Even stupid stuff like all those skins you don't buy, but others wear, have to be loaded into your VRAM, so after few games of playing with different people your VRAM is full of assets you don't need.
Yes, it's a good buy. I regret getting RTX 3070, because getting stutters in everything. It's interesting that I've watched all these big review channels and nobody noticed the 8GB issue before the latest game releases like Last of Us, Hogwart, Resident Evil 4.
Now I would have to buy 4070 (which in some titles still could run out of VRAM in 1440p), but I'm not wasting money again on GPU.
