Packet Burst
Hey everyone, in the past 2 days i've had some issues with getting Packet Burst errors, that really ruin the experience and the most important thing - PC bluescreens and MW2 Multiplayer crashes.

Packet Burst mostly happens on Shipment, sometimes in Warzone 2 but not as much. I have the Streaming Texture setting disabled, so i don't know where the Packet Burst's are coming from. I also don't have bad internet, it only happens when playing this game.

The Crashes mostly happen when i go back to the lobby or mid match. But most of the time when i get back into the lobby.

Bluescreens happened 3 times now and one was when i opened my parachute, 2nd was mid match and 3rd was when i opened my gunsmith menu.

I don't have a bad computer or anything, the game runs smoothly on 160fps and it doesnt take up my resources, nor does my pc get really hot. It takes 85% of ram but many games do, so i don't think its about the ram. Anyone able to help? Reddit didn't help and i couldn't find anything on the Forum. Thank yall in advance

It would help if you'd show the Bluescreen code. It sometimes hints at a specific device and or driver. Considering crashes & Bluescreens, the Packet Burst errors may result from something happening on your end which disrupts communications with a server.

The usual stuff with what I would start:
Is everything updated? (Windows, Graphics Card etc.)
What background programs are running?
Do other games have symptoms as well?
Did you play MW1 with this rig?
Did you change something recently?
Are you running an aggressive Anti-Virus and/or Network-Steamliner tool?
Did you overclock something?
Do you share this comp with someone else who installs stuff? (Check recent software installments which are eating resources)

It's all trial and error mate.

I think i found the problem. I was playing on Maximum Settings (which didn't seem to do anything with my pc since my GPU never got hot or was at 80%+. I put everything on low and it runs fine now.

Hey let me add this to watch out for in addition:
- CPU Throttle
- Temperature (caused by Dust etc.)
The temperature is rising in various parts of the world in this time of year so... check for CPU throttle which might interrupt your gameplay to such an extend that it might cause a BSOD.
Write down the BSOD code next time mate.

This is spot on, I use canned air once month at minimum to blow the dust out and cpu rarely gets over 40 C and usually at normal activities stays around 29C.
