[FIXED] Warzone 2 not launching steam fix.
-set the cod.exe file itself in the game files to run in compatibility mode for windows 8 and launch the game , it shows an error cancel it and uncheck the compatibility mode and run the game again and now it should fix , this personally fixed the game not launching for me it might work for you too ,
-you can also try reinstalling your graphics driver and checking if windows is up to date and restarting your computer that might also fix the issue.
-there's also a trick where you can install the game again but find the already installed game files
-verify integrity of game files
lemme know how many people i saved !

Where is it installed? I've got it installed on D: and moved it to C: (the drive where steam is installed) and it started :steamsad:

Downloaded the game and it wouldn't launch. Reinstalled it, and patched files, still won't launch.
Went through alle the guides I could find online, still won't launch. This garbage game can only run through battlenet, where you can't even use a PS5 controller wirelessly. It has to be plugged in. Activision really is just the worst....

And yes all my drivers and everything is up to date.

Mine is fixed and heres how i did it:
The pwoer went off during the loading and now the game wont start so this is what i did:
Well i had to just delete the config files (the folders in C DOCUMENTS and in APPDATA (named as "calloffuty" or something similar)..
The i RESTORED THE STEAM BACKUP files of call of duty warzone( that i had taken before the game went tits up for me).
Restarted the pc and viola! It works now...

Hey guys! I found a fix. So bassically after 3 days of trying, after I ve installed both Steam and Battlenet version and none of them worked I ve figured out that its about a file or a software that conflicts with the game. So I read on other forum that you can find that specific file by activating the memory integrity option in core isolation setting in windows 10 settings. I couldnt find this setting only after activating SVM Mode in Bios or something similar. After activating memory integrity, it should pop up an error about a file that conflict with memory integrity. That file its the problem, it was a file from an old nVidia driver found in System32/Drivers called nvoclk64.sys, i renamed that file nvoclk64.old and restarted windows. After that warzone launched with no problems. It may be the case that the error when activating memory integrity doesnt pop up. So u just need to shut down your computer or even maybe boot in safe mode then boot normally. In my case the error didnt pop up fron the first time so i thought this wont work so I booted in safe mode to delete some files that I tought may be the problem (FACEIT AC, EA AC and so on) and then when I restarted my PC the error showed up that a file its conflicting with memory integrity. If that doesnt work, try to make sure that there are no traces of anu software like Anticheats or softs like Msi afterburner, third party antimalwares etc.
