So I tried controller... and holy sh*t
I am 40 years old. Enjoy Cod, played always with mouse. Wanted to check whats the fuss about with this "autoaim" when using pad. AND HOLY CRAP. It blew me away - being clumsy with controller I was able to kill others with literally no problem. This is crazy, just aim in the general direction of the enemy with analog and boom aim sticks to their heard. It's like playing with hacks... Sad. Would be nice to be able to play only with others using mouse&keyboard. This plus cat skins, snoop skins, nicki minaj skins, pink guns, broken framerate, skill based matchmaking, requiring mobile number jeez. Yet it still sells and Activision is making significant profit. Call of Duty where are you heading?

Playing with a controller is stupid easy, a toddler could do it if you told them to move the left stick left and right and press L2 R2 to aim and shoot. There's a reason why there are videos on youtube titled "how to abuse aim assist in cod". It's f***ing ridiculous and the worst part is, as a PC player you can't even tell how good you really are because most of the lobbies consist of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controller players even though the game has an active userbase of like 60k every single day, on Steam. Developers are borderline dumb

I don’t think you guys actually know what is happening. People use a device called a XIM and it makes it look like they are using a controller to play. But, they are actually using a mouse and keyboard. Which gives them aim assist because the game thinks they are using a controller. A regular controller player will get lit up against mouse and keyboard players. Yes, controllers do get aim assist, but it’s the people using a mouse and keyboard getting that same aim assist that are the problem. They are trying to use a new method of catching these devices, it’s called Mouse Trap, but it’s mostly not affective.

It's pretty easy to tell when someone's using a controller, so nah. Sure, maybe one in 1000 players use XIM, but controller still has insane aim assist that clearly gives console players an adventage over mkb, especially on the night maps where PC players are blinded by the muzzle flash
