Many players still using CRONUS?
I thought this device was banned. My last teammates got 25 kills, and 19 kills respectively. They then start bragging about how good Cronus is and how they can wipe lobbies with it.

Seriously Activision can you fix this?

They can, when they let you choose crossplay by input on PC

Activision only "warn" console players who cheat using their Cronus Zen. So yes COD MW2 is basically a cheaters only game. All players in the top lobbies are using an Aim Assist with a Cronus. Hence why the game is dead.

Third-Party Hardware Device Detection Update

In our previous Progress Report, we detailed a new detection for the malicious use of third-party hardware devices. Today, we want to examine the results we saw within the first two weeks of the detection being live.

As a reminder, third-party hardware devices used to provide a player with an unfair advantage are against our Security and Enforcement Policy. Players found to be using these devices will be served warnings and account penalties.

Within the first two weeks of launching this detection we saw a 59% drop in any use of these devices across Modern Warfare II and Warzone – inclusive of MWII Ranked Play (Warzone Ranked had not launched within this window). Of those users, 57% of them did not utilize the device again, whereas 43% once again attempted to circumvent the policy.

Repeat offenders and those continuing to use these devices without pause have been penalized. Malicious use of these devices may result in account suspensions – up to permanent account bans.

Like all anti-cheat systems, the moment we announced our detections, cheat makers and cheaters worked to find new ways to play unfairly. Our detection methods and systems for this detection (and others) have seen consistent updates and we have multiple methods of approach to identify the use of these devices. These, like all detections, will continue to evolve and update to combat cheating.

That's good but I'm defn seeing a lot of Cronus users now.

Get angry at the cheat makers, not the people trying to stop it.

Yah this crud won't stop until the devs start suing *all* the cheat makers, and then go after the users as well. They have their IP addresses, they have enough info on their game purchase and should be able to state that legally if you cheat to ruin gameplay you will be held financially accountable.

These F'n cheaters are nothing but Losers, they'll never amount to anything in life.

If you see an obvious Cronus script user, you can report them for cheating. I did when I saw a player in a match who would instantly drop shot literally every time they fired, it was very robotic and obvious.

How can someone tell? I can make guns in Gunsmith with no recoil at all but slow ADS though.

Yep, many people still cheating on this game.
It seems to be going up and down since season 4 launched.
I turned it on, joined a game of shipment and there some vermin is locking on to targets and spamming VTOLs.
I reported the scum and turned this game back off.

I just played some Shipment and Quickplay TDM and Shipment was very hard to play. Once I warmed up it felt better like normal. But in Quickplay I had no bussiness playing. I couldn't get more than 5 kills.

It seemed like I was dying soooooo fast. Didn't have a chance.
