game won't start or open

I deleted the game 5 times and reinstalled it. I updated the game files, I updated the video card driver, but it won't open.

Go to your game directory and go to properties n cod.exe and turn off run as admin if you have it on.

my buddy had the same thing yesterday, now we have removed the folder ( Call of Duty Modern Warfare ) from his documents, checked game files. and then it was able to start it up and it could finally play. maybe this works for others

as soon as you start the game again after the removal, the game makes that folder again and you can just play the game again

i've tried uninstall reinstall, moved to different drive, cleared download cache, run as admin, run normal, renamed the file, allowed through antivirus, disabled anti virus, cleared download cache, changed download region, and even completely resetting my pc and it still doesn't work and it doesn't even give me an error code, and this has been happening since before season 2

in the my documents folder. on your PC. you have to delete the folder first. of CALL OF DUTY complete. > then VERIFY GAME FILES > then restart the game. then the game creates that new folder with the files in the my documents folder.

and then the game works again, I did it myself yesterday with one of mine, so there is a fix. but that's up to you to try it. it will work

OK. Just brain stormed with some old knowledge. Some times these game launchers are a little resource full or use full. So I downloaded the Razer Cortex game booster to launch the game and I am up and ready to begin playing. I do not know what it did but it is working so far.
