Forcing things like that requires real-time modifications of matches, like modifying your damage output towards every enemy you shoot at. This is all explained in the Patent that Activision has (and some people here say they didn't implement it).
I'm fully against what Activision has done. It's absolutely not fair.
They basically removed skill, and implemented "average 1.0 kd".
They're making games easier for bad players, and making games harder (and unfair) for good players.
I remember hearing about patent couple years back. I didnt want to belive it. I tried to avoid the negative backlash and be positive about this game but damn its driving me crazy. Even I go back yesterday s to Black ops COLD WAR and It is way better than this. Not to be biased I played like 10 matches it was nowhere near this and you can actually see health bars of enemies to see if your damage is consistent. Future of gaming scares me... First Battlefield 2042 added AI bots to fill the matches and now we have AI experiments in warzone with DMZ.
every time without fail you open a thread like this and one of the first replies is someone agreeing with the post and then slowly turning it into a conspiracy theory about how skynet is making them ♥♥♥♥ at the game.
it's got really under-handed energy, like they're trying to convert people to their religion without the person realizing lmao
Yeah there is no way of proving that unless you have access to the live code. If you pretend it's undeniable you are a walnut. SBMM is a fun boogeyman that forces players to play poorly, kind of like how Santa forces children to be good.
so it does exist, i thought i had heard about it at some point, the only thing i can imagine they could use this for on warzone/dmz would be that players who dont buy the main game would be effected negatively, so basically like, wanna enjoy DMZ without getting insta killed by bots, give money, because you clearly couldnt make it pay2win against other players, that would be so much easier to see, but against AI? well they could make that happen
