For all the people camo grinding

How long did it take you to realize that you don't enjoy the core gameplay at all, and only care about unlocking things? I got around 60% of the camos before I finally figured this out.

i unlocked all the assault rifles gold before i gave up and just started playing for kills / warzone

the game is trash. there is literally zero redeeming factors about it. they don't even test the camo challenges, like you don't need to be a genius to figure out needing to hit somebody 3 times with a riot shield and getting double kills is nearly impossible. at least the challenge was bugged for me, or getting double kills with launchers that are literally meant to take down streaks. the game wasn't tested or balanced in the slightest. It genuinely is one of the worst call of dutys i have ever played.

I enjoyed the grind but getting orion pretty much killed the game for me. I even poked my head in DMZ.
I'm just waiting for more maps. Seems like playing the same few maps over and over.

I'm definitely enjoying MW2.

I came to that realization after I max leveled every weapon. I had a lot of friends who played regularly in MW19 (pandemic boredom) and it made the core gameplay a lot of fun. We would get on every day and run HC S&D. I actually enjoyed MW19's gameplay loop outside of weapon grinding. I eventually grinded Damascus after noticing I was close from simply playing the game for over a year. This game just isn't nearly as fun loop-wise. It might have been better with a legit Hardcore mode instead of Tier 1. But now I'm just camo grinding because I have to justify spending $70 on this game.

Got done with my camo grind and started playing search or knock out, been having a good time but the sbmm or server issues the game has going on can still be very frustrating

Got all the camos and I actually miss grinding guns. It was frustrating for certain challenges but very worth it. Game feels boring now but that's cause I have everything I want, including the pass leveled up.

activision is like people don't like unlocking stuff, let's put everything behind a overpriced paywall and remove the prestige system.

say what you will about lootboxes at least you always had something to look forward to unlocking. They would be 100% fine if you couldn't purchase them and only cosmetics were behind it.
