I got an offensive chat warning + username warning

Im a little confused since i dont use chat at all and my username is PrincessLuna. Does activision actually review these because this is really silly.

Its odd, I dont have a mic plugged in and i dont use the text chat option. I even mute all lobbies by default.

I just ignored it never happened again.

anybody can report you and it's not checked at all. it's entirely automated, also somebody can report you 10 times and it'll count as 10 separate reports. i've had my name banned for being offensive "latinaparfait" and now have a 14 day VC ban because people are salty. it's the stupidest system i've ever seen in any game and encourages you to report everybody.

after the warning is the ban btw. and from what i know there is no reset period meaning next time somebody reports your name or for chat your gonna get banned. hopefully you like being renamed to user203948 cause it's only a matter of time before it happens. i'm glad i paid 70$+ for this amazing game.

it doesn't matter if you disable it or not. if somebody reports you it doesn't take that into consideration it's all automated. you could never use Text chat and voice chat and be banned. it's an awful system that is abused heavily and i don't blame people for abusing it cause this game is trash.

you can mitigate people being salty and reporting you by playing normally. if you're playing really sweaty/campy you are much more likely to be reported, i'd recommend not talking at all either because it just gives them reason to report you. it's almost like they don't want you to communicate or even play the game. yeah, not playing is a good way.

i cannot tell you how mad i was and angered after finding out "latinaparfait" was banned for being offensive, trying to contact activision to get it revoked. there is no way of contacting them, they are a 100% incompetent company and i truly hope they fail and lose money.

When it comes to Call of Duty certain people go Bat S Crazy, I had a few people cuss me out cause I was camping in the bush with a sniper, and they want me to run and gun or they report me, and I told them I'm not the one that died first and plus I brought ya back with the loot I looted from chest numbers of times.

The funny part is i dont even do that well, my last few games i went very negative, like 0.7kd one game i went 5-30. I think people just report for nothing. i barely hold an average 1kd

In short no they don't review. They basically let the community decide via reports. It is, to put kindly, an AWFUL system.
