Game won't launch. Need help

When i launch warzone 2.0 it loads up and then the game goes away. Then i reclick on play and nothing happens. Does anyone have a fix for this? I already tried Uninstalling and reinstall and I tried scan and repair. When I did the scan and repair it said 39 files not validated. If anyone can help it will be appreciated.

have same problem, on steam pressing "start" the game and after few min nothing happens, game do not launch and the button from "stop [blue]" again became "start [green]", never had any problems, other games on acc just running normal, last time played warzone on monday and everything was normal.

I crashed 3 times in the span of 45 minutes, wake up Activision.

You can try deleting the files in the COD folders in Temp and Documents. The game will regenerate these files, perhaps one of them is corrupt or has an invalid value. Reinstalling the game won’t remove all of these files. So if you tried a reinstall this still may work.

Just FYI if you do try that, it will delete your graphical settings. I think there’s a good chance for it to work however.

I couldn’t open the game through battlenet the other day, but a scan and repair seemed to fix it.

You can try deleting the files in the COD folders in Temp and Documents. The game will regenerate these files, perhaps one of them is corrupt or has an invalid value. Reinstalling the game won’t remove these files. So if you tried a reinstall this still may work.

Sadly having a similar issue. When I try to launch the game I get to the first mini loading screen with the white bar that will fill completely but wont continue loading on to the actual game. I've tried just about everything and haven't been able to play for at least a month now. I was able to play during beta and launch but all of a sudden my game is broken.

I FOUND A FIX I HOPE it worked for me but not sure about anyone else locate graphics settings click onto change default graphic settings then disable hardware acceleration GPU scheduling and restart your PC hope this helps the verify the game files

Go to the search bar at the bottom left of the desktop. Type %appdata% and hit enter. The temporary files folder should be in there. You can delete the entire folder.

After go to the search bar and type Documents and hit enter. Find the MW2 folder and delete it. I think it’s named weird like Modern Warfare 2022 or something. I don’t think it says Modern Warfare 2.

You can try to launch the game now, the game will regenerate the files you just deleted nice and fresh and creamery. Hopefully that helps you.
