Shadowban Issue and Activision

We need Activision to step up to the plate and address this shadowban problem, which is affecting a huge number of innocent players. I legitimately enjoy playing this game when it works properly and believe that the real cheaters need to be banned. I've never cheated in a video game in my life.

There are some Activision fanboys who refuse to admit that there may be something wrong with ricochet and automatically assume that thousands of people are lying about the exact same issue, and that we ALL MUST be cheating. This is a hill they are willing to die on and it makes it harder for us to get legitimate answers about this injustice.

I have gone through multiple cycles of "Account under review," where it disconnects me every time I deal damage, to "No ban detected," after a few days, only to have "Account under review" reinstated the first match I try to play. There is obviously a glitch or bug with the broken Ricochet anti-cheat, which Activision needs to address.

Activision hasn't made a statement and hasn't acknowledged that there is an obvious problem with the software. They're hiding from this issue and hoping it gets swept under the rug. There's no way to talk to anyone in support about this issue, and they are giving thousands of honest players, who spent hard-earned money on the game the middle finger.

I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau about this and I suggest to anyone that has been screwed by Activision in this manner to do the same. It doesn't take that long to do, and the more people who do it, the more the word will spread, and the more Activision will be forced to work on it.

Does anyone have any updates on the situation or ways to get out of the "Account under review" deathloop?

I did the procedure even changing the dns on the router itself and it doesn't work for warzone.

Wait for your account to no longer be under review and try again.

This is all over Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Tictok. Disconnected from server with zero errors. Known problem broken servers yet they do nothing to fix it. I as well have the same problem sat in game with shield did nothing for one minutes soon as I bashed someone I was Disconnected from server and Shadow Banned Dec 23. After being cleared Dec 27 with green check mark went into game fired shot at the enemy got Disconnected from server with in 3 seconds and Shadow Banned again. So now I was told by others to hit them with a charge back getting my money back being they don't care to fix broken game. Activation needs to be held accountable for shadow banning wrongful players.

Doing a chargeback is the wrong thing to do because steam will suspend your steam account for doing that. That is worse than losing a few dollars.

Setting your DNS server address to those of Google's seemed to have worked for a lot of people.

Next time you are "Unbanned" try this solution.

"It really seems like a stupid fix my friends and I also agree, but turns out it's been the solution all along..

Next time you are unbanned, set your windows network settings to google's dns!

(Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections, select yours > properties > ipv4)

Select, "Use the following DNS server addresses," and set them to:
8888
8844

Ever since trying this I have been able to play normally. Unbelievably happy about this!

It looks pretty suspicious even more so coming from a Level 2 account. Good luck to anyone who dares to do this.

if your account is one of the accounts that keep getting reshadowbanned for no reason i found a work around but in order for it to work your account has to pass the review inspection first. i would get unbanned then instantly get disconnected and rebanned after shooting one bullet at a player or dying, shadownbanned 3 times in one week. after seeing this video yesterday i can finally play this $70 game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAPSxS3kBHc

aparently you did not read the part where it is a problem lots of people have and they did not cheat either they are just playing and randomly get shadowbanned for no reason and it happens right after they get unshadowbanned as well it is a bug that happened after a update and is still happening.
