I don't mind aim-assist existing, as long as it's FAIR. Right now it's NOT fair. It's been proven (through stats) that normal people using controllers with aim-assist beats normal people using kbm.

They need to either:
1. Add input-based matchmaking (preferred solution)
2. Nerf aim-assist by atleast half (so that it's fair 50/50)
3. Let us disable crossplay (AND disable controllers on pc)
4. Remove aim assist completely
5. Give kbm aim-assist.
This is in order, from the best suggestions to the worst. All of them will fix the issue in the long run.

You controller people saying "skill issue", go disable crossplay so that you only play against other aim-assist people.

It's not a hack it's part of the game they just have it cranked to 11. A hack or mod would be someone manipulating the game for there benefit and it works way better. I do get your frustration on the issue and you think one of the largest threads are to make it so we can toggle cross-play is ignored by IW and Activison.

Aim assist is basically a soft aimbot on this game, it locks on and follows the target for you, there is minimal effort required. Aim assist in this version of CoD is MUCH stronger than in previous games

It 'locks and follows targets'? lmao okay dude maybe you're getting mixed up with your own hacks and cheats.
Heres a fact - aim assist is not a 'hack' - no one is exploiting the game here - it's an assist that compensates for the low speed and precision that the thumb stick gives us. Any skilled kb+m player should be able to snap on target way before the assist helps. I play with plenty of kb+m players and they do just fine without the crybaby posts here on reddit and steam.

I am not obliged to change the OP's mind just because he challenges us too. If he started the discussion from a position of intelligence and rationale, maybe he'd get more reasonable reply. He started with a falsehood and implied console users are 'creatures'. I replied with the contempt - and truth - that his clickbait post deserves.

On this note, keep in mind that one could go into their settings and set their stick to technically always be slightly moved and therefore can have the aimbot always active. I say this because a controller player will come in and say "BUT IT'S ONLY IF YOU MOVE THE STICK!!!11!1" (as if that makes it any better).
