Why does this game have such bad ratings ?>

I played this game today (on PC) at a relatives house and it felt actually pretty good. The guns work like a charm, the graphics seems to have improved a bit and the damage model also seems to be quite nice. No crashes.
Only realise a bit of a " lagg " on some map for a short period of time.

Considering to buy it.

What do you guys who actually play the game say about that ?

UPDATE: Played the game, runs absolutely amazingly smooth and does not crash. Definitely a keeper and lots of fun !!

It's too expensive for what you get.
Too many try-hards; match making is a mess for many.
DMZ is a *blast*, and *free*, but seems Activision doesn't like DMZ and are purposefully making it less fun. No idea why they'd do this.

the player base is dropping like a rock, it's a terrible game, that sadly you have to play a bunch to find out

I would not call " -8.17% " dropping like a rock. According to steam charts, which I checked before.

Game has bugs but I am pretty sure the flatten out what is broken and people will end up buying again.

A lot of people bought it and refunded to give a negative review for the price alone. Others hate the aim assist for controllers and give a negative review. Others dislike the sbmm, negative review. The game had a bad crashing problem that only recently got sort of fixed, negative review.

You don't even need to buy it to leave a review, since for whatever reason, Warzone and MW2's paid version are considered the same thing on Steam. Which also means you can't get a refund if you buy it after playing the F2P side.

But yeah, you can leave a full-on review only owning the F2P side. It fully deserves its current score for treating the consumer like trash.

I and many others have lots of hours in this game. I think they did a great job. People are over complaining and whining about every aspect of life right now. It is by no means perfect but I am with you, the low ratings are uncalled for.

My first PC cod. Thankfully, Im not having any of the problems that other pc users are having - it runs like a dream, im very happy with the game. However, as soon as my ps5 arrives, im jumping back to console just so i can switch off crossplay - pc hackers have ruined this game too.

It's at -70% since the all time high when WZ launched. That's over 300k players on steam by itself. The playerbase dipped out man, no way you can spin it to say otherwise. Sure people still play it, but just like I said and keep saying, check back in 30 days. I guarantee 100% it lost even more players, and will continue to do so.

game is in an alpha status. Unbalanced, unoptimised, and crashes on any system very often.

This happens to every single game ever unless it's like Payday 2 where the playerbase is built up over time rather than relying on marketing to hype the game up and have a big boost at launch. Plus let's not forget, PC is hardly the biggest audience for this game, console probably has over 1 million concurrent players right now.
