I should be able to play it on either of my computers according to the store specs. But I'm seeing lots of folks claiming the game crashes a lot of the time which concerns me since that's really annoying. Hopefully the crashing gets resolved soon. I'm thinking of waiting off on this one for awhile.

some people claim they haven't had any issues, and that it works flawlessly: those people are lying because there are currently issues aka flaws with the game that don't regard crashing, so those who say it's flawless are full of it.
that being said, my pc can run it for a few hours without a crash, but when things get hot like in shoothouse where ragdolls spawn faster and faster, the game can be prone to crashing.
as for story, the campaign also has issues crashing, but it's the same as literally every cod campaign i've ever played.
sometimes the game tries to do something spectacular and it crashes, that's happened in every major cod story i've ever played.
and it's not like it does it repeatedly in the same spot, it will crash, you restart from checkpoint, and move past it.
i honestly think it's worth the money being that every cod ever has had terrible launches like this and this should be expected from the company at this point.
everyone complaining are just new to COD i swear, hence why they're asking for hitmarkers in hardcore when the only hardcore to have those was on battlefield, not COD.
Thanks for your honest reply.
Hmm, I wonder if it's more stable on Xbox Series S?
This is my Steam account but I usually let my son use it whenever he comes to visit me. I bought him an Xbox Series S to take to his mother's house last Christmas and I have an Xbox Series S at my place also that he could play it on under his Xbox account. He doesn't have a computer at his mother's house though. The desktop computer that I listed above to someone else is one I built for him for his birthday last year but it has to stay here at my place. I'm not willing to let him take that to his mother's house.
So all he has to play games on at his mother's house is his Xbox Series S that I got him last Christmas. If I bought him this game on Xbox Series S then he'd be able to play it on my Xbox Series S under his Xbox account and when he goes back to his mother's house then he could pick up where he left off on his Xbox Series S at her house.
But I'm seeing the Xbox reviewers complaining that the game forces crossplay with PC and are at an unfair disadvantage since controllers cannot compete with M+K players since M+K has much faster and more precision aiming. But then I'm seeing PC players complaining that the Xbox console players have an advantage because of aimbot giving them an advantage, sooo it seems terrible either way. Seems like they should not force crossplay between consoles and PCs. I'm not seeing Xbox reviewers mention too much about crashing but many are complaining about the forced crossplay. But I'm seeing many PC users complaining about forced crossplay as well + lots of crashing.
In short, I'm just a dad trying to make a good purchase decision for my teenage son. I'm leaning more towards getting it on the Xbox Series S now since that way he can play it at his mother's house or here whenever he comes to visit. Thanks for your reply. Very helpful! I may get it on PC also in about 6 months or right around the time he's out of school for the summer. He lives with me during the summers so maybe it will be on the Steam summer sale and I can get it for him for PC as well then. But for now, I'm thinking Xbox is the better choice.
Okay, I just bought him the Vault edition for his Xbox Series S.
is there better FPS on battle too?
