Why "Mk 18" and "M24 SWS" considered profanity?

I set up my loadouts and try to name the M4 one as "Mk 18" and SP-R 208 one as "M24 SWS"

Unfortunately, I can't type those 2 words (Mk 18 and M24 SWS) as it will promt "Text prohibited due to profanity" error. So my question is as follow

1. How in the name of god Mk 18 and M24 SWS considered profound? I tested further and found that the game considered "Mk" and "SWS" to be profound. Why?
2. Why profanity filter applied on a personal-use-only text. In public chat, I get it. But this was meant for personal use in my loadout screen, which I typed in myself. Who else will see it and get offended by it? Other gun companies that are secretly spying on my PC for not using their rifle?
3. More importantly, I can type those words in in-game chat to other people just fine. Including real profanity words. But not as a personal-use text?

Please removed, or give us an option to disable, profanity filter in any personal-only text.

And can someone enlighten me why Mk and SWS considered a profound words.

Uav is censored as well, it will only go downhill from here

You can disable profanity filter in the settings btw. It's absolute bogus to have it on 'cuz it has a lot of dumb stuff censored. Even the word, "loser" is too harsh for this 17+ rated game apparently...

It doesn’t work, I have profanity filter off

It works for me completely fine. I'm not sure if it's a new bug that may have happened with a recent update. I turned it off almost instantly in the first few weeks of the game.

Yeah that's weird. Mine definitely stopped censoring when I disabled it. Just another bug you can throw into the mix that this game has I guess.

Ye I’m afraid they won’t even fix majority, just the critical ones. No mentions of bug fixes in the midseason post

That is very interesting. I'm pretty sure it's a bug. As the game use the word "UAV" them self, and UAV didn't mentioned any licensed name.

I always disable it. But this text profanity only prompt up when you try to rename your loadout. You can type both Mk18 and M24 SWS just fine else where in game.

You know what the interessting thing is UAV in a sentence is censored BUT if you only write UAV individualy its not censored lol.
