I seriously don't understand weapon damage in Warzone 2.0

Seriously, I just need to rant because this was something that made me stop playing the original Warzone. I get it, I'm not a pro, and I wouldn't even say I'm very good.

What I will say is I'm pretty good at the regular multiplayer, and but apparently my accuracy doesn't count for anyone because I will unload an assault rifle into someone's back in Warzone, and they'll turn around and insta-down me with an MP5 as though I don't have a 3 plate carrier.

They over-engineered the fun out of the game so the damage and accuracy, etc fluctuates depending on your and other players parameters. Basically the ♥♥♥♥'s rigged.

Probably lag. Most CoD servers are really bad and as a bonus they allow players with crazy high ping. So basically the servers are guessing what really happened. Usually people with higher fire rate guns will win during that coin toss. You can see that especially in CQB situations. There's no magical netcode that can magically couter latency. That's why it's impossible to play proper fighting games online on react, like Street Fighter.
