I already bought MW2 on Blizzard Do I have to buy Twice????

i cant seem to link my account online i get the code and it just wont link my steam account to my blizzard through my activison

If your asking if MW2 is a cross platform buy it is not. Buying MW2 on Blizzard will not give you access to MW2 here.

In all honesty Blizzard is probably the better option anyways. Steam goes down for maintenance every Tuesday and that WILL kick you out of the game. Plus people have stated the Steam overlay and friend list can cause performance issues.

Yea not gonna spend another 65 bucks just for the achievements that's so dumb would of bought it here in the first place but they didn't carry it I feel like this was planned

I'm not sure how many hours you have on Blizzard version or what their refund policy is, but you could try doing a refund if still eligible.

yes its possible, just login with your activision account on steam / battle.net

Don't know why anyone would have the assumption you could own a game, let alone a live-service game on multiple platforms by buying just 1 copy of it. Very rarely do game publishers let people do that.

yeah that is how the old games worked but if they made a cd for the pc version it would detect it for both steam and battle . net but i don't think they made one for pc though.

^^^ this also though you can link your account to your battle.net account and it should give you the achievements you earned in game and apply to both. I am almost certain achievements I made while using the Battle.net version applied to the Steam version when accounts were linked .

They're both the PC version its not a different console
