I'm trying if not I'm gonna file with the FTC for false advertising and see how that goes.

What did you expect? The team decided to capitalize on the experience of the last part, and you were seduced. Don't whine. Is it hard for you to play without p2w content?:lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Yeah have fun winning a multi-million dollar lawsuit against a billion dollar corporation with your presumable two dollars considering you're whining about such a minor expense.

buying a cosmetic that you know conveys an in game advantage(when it definitely should not) and then being surprised when its fixed is your own fault

but i'll accede there should be some compensation for the changes
I wasn't trying to be rude or anything just saying that it sad that certain people have to play by their rules and such force to run and gun just saying.

FTC isn't a lawyer or a law firm. It's a consumer protection agency. They only take action if there are a lot of reports but you know COD doesn't exactly have the brightest base of users so unlikely anything will happen unless I harass some junior senator or something. Which I'm not putting in lobbying level effort here.

To everyone who thinks only CDL skin is affected. TONS of skins are affected like this. Weapon blueprints to other operator skins on the store. Once you buy something there's a good chance it will look different when you go to look at it equipped.

We have a basic law called Truth-In-Advertising. FALSE COLORS falls under Fraudulent Representation.

All I'm asking is the law be applied and a MULTI-BILLION dollar company follow the rules like every other person in the USA. I gotta follow the law? You gotta follow the law? Activision is too big to follow the law?

You mean like that one skin from vanguard when it was like a white skin and on the pic it suppose to be white but when you brought the skin changed to a brown looking

Under UK and EU regulations, Even with the disclaimer under the dlc. It is illegal to not offer refunds for the product. You cant sell a digital product like that, and then randomly change the design. At least for UK citizens they have every right to be offered a refund.
