Hard crashes during DMZ

Is anyone else getting this problem?

Hard crash for no obvious reason during a DMZ when things are going really well.

Yup. Had to stop playing last night when I crashed twice with my best weapons and full kit. If they can't figure out the crashing, they can at least implement a fix where when the game detects a crash, or you leaving the game for any reason outside of using the game menu or alt+f4, your kit should be returned to the state it was before the match started.

I am using that. I still get random crashes.

They dont seem to be doing anything to fix it either. Disgrace

I went over a week without crashes, then I started using discord running in the background with overlay off and gpu acceleration off both app and web version and I started getting crashes again. Started playing with players that wanted me to use discord, it sucks I may have to stop using it. This game doesn't like anything running in the background for a lot of systems.

then your shaders quality and textures might be too high. I got mine on medium.
I put everything on medium or low, and well the water physics are on high. So if you don't mind not having ultra graphics. This fixed my issues big time. And I was getting lot's of crashes..

Yeah tell him to turn it completely off and close all programs in background to test. I may end up setting up steam voice chat and test that method next.

Yes. Every time I crash, random files fail to verify and are redownloaded through steam. Worse yet, The game can work, and if I try to verify files there are more random files that are downloaded.

Nothing helped preventing this crash.
I even uninstalled everything from NVIDIA. Not just the driver. Still crashed.
Long story short: after numerous hours and braincells I found out It is indeed caused by NVIDIA.
I downloaded the older package from their official page and rolled back to 526.86 and it helped in my case.
Finally no more crashes

I hope this helps you, too. This crash was really annoyig and frustrating.

Absolutely. You should not lose all your gear when this happens. At least let us rejoin the game or something.

I really hope this is not the case.
