Why is there so much emphasis on LGBTQ flags (pride, trans, etc.) in the game?

I do not get why pride flags are included in the game, nor why they comprise 90% of the available calling cards. I can completely get why a countries flag, for example, would be included in the game, as it is genuinely an interesting fact about the person who killed you. Or perhaps a card that signifies prestige or anything of value in the game.

I have no objection to the LGBTQ flags being included in the game. However, why is this virtually the only flag available?

Moreover, Call of Duty has always attempted to imitate real combat, especially given that the game's exact title is "Modern Warfare." In actual battle, a shoulder patch could be a national flag or a medal of valor, but an LGBTQ-patch? That is the most irrelevant knowledge possible about a soldier.

Why is Activision acting in this manner?

You have entirely misread my point; I am not suggesting that we exclude LGBTQ flags. I'm merely pointing out that we need more flags overall so that the bulk of calling card options are not LGBTQ.

And with all due respect, you are also a prime example of a man who speaks without any knowledge of the issue. The United States military does consider gender. Soldiers are definitely prohibited from displaying pride flags at work. If this were the case, for instance, people would be permitted to fly Confederate flags on military bases, which would be disastrous. But you could not possibly think that far ahead, could you? I advise that you quit commenting like an all-knowing god and instead attempt to comprehend the challenge we are facing from multiple angles.

That being said my friend transitioned male to female ON BASE, they had to know about it approve it etc. So if they don't support it, they sure go a long way to support it.

Mad about people being represented? Absolutely not. But not everyone is being represented. LGBTQ is statistically 10% of the population, according to the info I have found on it, yet you think just pride flags represents everyone. Is that your assumption? Everyone is LGBTQ and therefore in your mind everyone is represented? I didn't think so...

The ones who enjoyed showing where they were from i.e. country flags, are now the forgotten ones.....the ones now NOT being represented, which is most of the other 90% that play this game. So for someone to assume LGBTQ is being forced on us isn't a stretch of the imagination.

I mean, on a serious note, have you seen the detail that has been put into the operators butts. I've never seen so much detail on something that has nothing to do with the objective of the game. That is what is important to the developers now.

I am represented just fine and I don't fly those flags. I like knives so I put a knife thing, and I got my revolver and deagle plat so I show that off too.

I take pride in what I take pride in, they should get to as well.

As for nation flags, there are animated ones with themes for the stupid fifa thing, so they are likely putting them behind events seeing as there is a war going on right now and they don't want to piss off anybody. As for it being forced on us, that's a pretty miniscule way to force anything on anyone considering I can't recall a tag outside the knife one I personally use off the top of my head. I pay 0 attention to peoples plates. Same of my squad of buddies, we're all laughing at this convo on discord.

And yeah, as graphics improve so are asses lmao. Sex sells, and IDK if you have seen some of the women soldiers in the world but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, so I would say it's accurate

I did not misunderstand your point, but you do not understand what I am stating. Obviously, you can be any gender to go to battle, just as you can be any gender to play Call of Duty. However, you are NOT permitted to wave your flag around in the same manner as in Call of Duty.
