i'v had snipers that turn from half a match "one shot kills" to "two shot or even 3 hit kills"
mines that normal kill, become so nerfed an enemy can run over and not be dead from it.
and all that because i pop off and play better then the rest "on that moment". plenty of other threads that mention this
Slugs work as intended for me and behave accordingly when under-fire, etc. Slugs behave like a marksman rifle with smg range...so the pistol grip SP-B or whatever with the short barrel. Accurate in ideal conditions and drastically less accurate as shooting conditions decline.
Since shotguns are generally run n gun, slugs are the worst option as they punish being mobile/quick shots.
Slugs are a meme as are Dragon's Breath and Explosive rounds. Just use buckshot.

It's a stupid balance thing. Shotguns have to be useless or AR and SMG babies cry.
sidenote (this is not directed towards anyone)
irl slugs are extremely accurate and can pull killing blows from ridiculous ranges. police officers use them, germany lost it's invasion in ww2 due to slugs causing them to lose. and this game they're absolutely dog shpoop? COD always tended to the ar/smg babies, and changed their diapers. i'm just glad the sniping is juicy at least because if it wasn't i would never look at cod games ever. (except for zombies, zombies is love)
only said above statement because when i get a hit marker from someone 10 feet away with a slug it outrages me, because all you have is a freaking split second of time before you get melted unless you're behind the enemy.
and yet i sniped a guy from ridiculous range 1 shot him with a basilisk.
I swear it makes me think the game is spawning invisible 1 side walls infront of me or my target at least.... letting them hit me but somehow not letting my bullets register "-"
