What does flinch resistance do for weapon tuning?

Youve probably noticed then when youre getting shot you kind of flinch up towards the sky, flinch resistance lessens that effect.
theres certain types of ammo, that multiply the flinch effect on your ennemies when youre shooting them.

I started using the flinch ammo and I have to say, it made a difference to my gun fights.
