False Ban

I'm sure some will jump to conclusions, and other will want to troll. But I'm hoping for a genuine discussion - and hopefully some help.

I got (presumably) shadow banned yesterday (200+ pings, huge matchmaking times), and then perma-banned whilst playing today. CASERMA RHINO(?) whatever that means.

Categorically I can say I do not - and have never cheated. You can check my VAC history for 13++ years on steam. All clean. 3000+ games of WZ1 and my stats were nothing special at <1.6 K:D; my multiplayer stats in MW2 are <1 K:D.

In what universe does this point to cheating? I don't modify files, nothing weird is running on my PC, and i've never tried to DL or use cheats.

I've submitted a ban appeal, but i'm guessing it's automated. Has anyone got suggestions on how to properly look into this? I paid for the vault edition of the game.. not real happy about getting banned in ~120 hours.

posting here does nothing, your match history is from a year ago, you could of been banned 1 year ago for all we know.

ive only seen one of those bans so far been reverted(apparently), so your probably ♥♥♥♥ out of luck.

nobody really knows what they are for, and you will get an automated response saying "data manipulation"

Thanks rotax, i figure posting here gives me as much chance at a recovery as the ban appeal, but anything helps. Bought a bunch skins, the vault edition. Hardly what a cheater would do. Meh.

Yeah, WZ1 stats are from the previous game. There is no cod.tracker.gg for MW2 yet. Just wanted to use it as an example for those that would point the finger.

Witch i don't understand because Pro scuff controllers or xbox back paddles is a macro.

I don't know about shadow ban. I mean MM is almost always search with 200+ ping for me but then game starts my ping like 50-70. But how long your "huge matchmaking times"? Players this days can't wait a couple minutes. And i don't care about W\L because its depends not only from me and there's a lot ppl who play like 1\20 to get better SBMM. But i'm always try to play 1.0+ K\D. At the end of Vanguard (all seasons) my K\D was 2.15 but it was 200+ ping search and normal in-game ping there too from day 1.

Thanks mate. Good to know. I think i verified files after one of the many crashes I had.

Well. I'm now perma-banned - not shadow banned. When i was shadow banned it was more like 5-10 minute matchmaking times - at peak hours. Which in days prior was absolutely not the case. You can see if you are under review in https://support.activision.com/ban-appeal

Mine was a perma ban too. You should get caught up in a unban wave at some point

I also got shadow banned yesterday. So annoying since I've never ever cheated or did anything similar that could cause me to get banned...
