Raptor FMV40 scope problem

I purchased a "Sloth" set at the in-game store for 2400CR. The kit includes a BP of the VICTUS XMR sniper rifle. As part of the BP there is an optical sniper scope Raptor FMV40. It was because of this scope that I purchased this set, since this scope is locked on any other weapon and is not available for installation, although I have all the weapons of the maximum level (except for pistols). I went into battle with this rifle and with this scope. Here's what I found: 1. This scope has remained locked to other weapons and can only be used with this rifle from the kit. 2. When using the scope, the distance to the target is not displayed on its net, as stated in the description. 3. The button for setting the distance to the target is not active. 3. The rangefinder shows the distance to the target only when the rifle is aimed at the target (that is, any distance to the object located near which the barrel of the rifle is pointed without aiming) is shown.
Thus: either these are the bugs of this scope or the game as a whole. Devs, please deal with this problem, since the scope does not function as promised, and the purchase was useless and must be canceled with a refund to the Steam account.
I also left same message as bug report on the Activision site.

I have same issue just researching it, it seems that the scope is bugged in the exact why you describe it except I unlocked it without buying any sets so I assume the purchase of the set bugged it. Even after rebinding the "toggle range" button that is under regular range switching in settings, using it on different weapons and trying it in different gamemmodes I can 100% confirm that the scopes MAIN FUNCTION is not working. Also it seems that it doesn't work at all in firing range.(the distance is not even measured from the hip).

When did this occur ? I ask because I had zero issues with the scope as of 3 days ago, place reticle on target press shift ball drops to where you need to aim, put ball on target boom headshot 300 meters.

Same here...no issue. The scope is working fine and as you described.
For the OP: beware of a VERY large glint with this baby; You'll be seen across most maps. Not worthed, IMHO; better off with a medium glint scope.

I am also having trouble with this scope. When I press the range find button, the indicator drops to the third mark and then bounces back up again. It does not show me where to place the reticle. I have changed multiple settings in both the keybindings as well as how the "Sprint/Focus" shared works.
