Help us help you. Computer specs, operating system, and drivers? Past drivers you've tried?
There are so many things to try to fix so I'm just gonna paste a link in here that has a lot of stuff to try. One of the things to try is to make sure the cod.exe and bootstrapper are allowed through your firewall.

you have to go to the main menu, select missions there and unfortunately RESTART your last mission, it worked for me.

I had an issue where it crashed on load, the only way I got around it was by restarting the whole mission

I fixed this problem like this. Set the textures to NORMAL , not high or low . I also turned off texture loading on demand, just in case, but it seemed to stop crashing even after changing textures. Restarting the mission did not help.
