So. recently I found this interesting article. Long story short.
COD is not just a fun military game. It is carefully crafted gov propaganda.
Designed to present the US military in a positive light, as always the good guys and the rest of the world as bad guys - Russians, Chinese, Iran, etc.

The series is also designed to present "the war" as something positive and exciting. So when teenagers are playing this game their minds are shaped subtly so later they may want to join US Army or US Navy or US air force.

Some people who work or worked at Activision had previously worked at the US state department.

Your thoughts? Are you surprised? Do you play COD games everyday?

I am not surprised. I know this for quite some time.

Don't sweat it with the nay sayers, most people are always uncritical, consuming sheep.

I stand by my opinion that the game would be far better propaganda if it didn't have so many issues though. Not only that but I actually expect it to be propaganda in order to enjoy it more. When I play CoD I want it to have some hoorah patriotism or geopolitical references because that's fun.
They can miss me with the pride flags though, that's just cheap and lazy pandering.
