ALWAYS APPEARING OFFLINE/NOT JOINABLE
I can't set my profile to ONLINE
I've been trying everything, changing settings on battle.net, activision account, and steam, restarting the game multiple times, changing/removing clan tags... Nothing works.
Anyone got some more ideas / is experiencing the same problems ?

I'm running into the same issue. I show offline/not joinable. I'm online in steam, battle.net, and have my status online via my Activision account but when online on MW2 I still show offline/not joinable. I found forums on Reddit where other users are running into this issue but I haven't seen a resolution. It's pretty annoying.

Same. My friend has the same issue, so we cannot play together. Super frustrating.

You could probably make a voice channel (the headphones icon on the main page) and invite him to it
Once you're both in it, you'd be able to join in on it as a party and queue that way.
That's what people were doing when the social tab was busted day 1

I think I just figured it out. Callofduty.com sign in and link your steam account right? Go to your name and go down to preferences then go to privacy and security at the bottom you'll see 3 options. Sign on visible set it to friends. And set the two underneath to "All" I finally fixed it on my end because of it!

Just bought this game- how is this still an issue? Any resolutions or should i just refund this game?
