Banned without even playing

So I downloaded warzone 2.0 last night thinking when it releases I will play it with my friends. Logged in never played a game or anything at all and I get a message as soon as I started the game that I am permanently Banned. Great game 10/10.

As of modern warfare 2019 if you are caught misbehaving according to the
TOS that warrants a ban https://support.activision.com/articles/call-of-duty-security-and-enforcement-policy

you are automaticly banned from all former, current and future COD titles.

in other words. Working as intended.

You can get a refund if you haven't played.. Which you can't because you're banned.

Well warzone is free. I didnt buy mw2 so atleast i didnt lose any money but was looking forward to playing warzone.

nah, bots/ sellers and stuff get around it and real consumers dont, so its not very good system. the cheaters/ botters/ hackers will be around forever, the dude who only made 1 account ever is a lost customer forever

i got legitimately banned in 2019 and have been able to play each subsequent game released after. I'm not banned in Cold War, and I'm not banned with this. I also haven't used mods since 2019, and have had a fresh wipe in both cases.
