Getting average 80 FPS on RTX 3080, 16gb RAM Ryzen 5 3600
No vertical sync or FPS lock enabled in any platform whatsoever (nvidia control panel, MSI Afterburner, Rivatunner, in-game) i play on 1440p, so even if the CPU bottlenecks the 3080 normally, the load is way heavier on the GPU in this game, and even then the FPS is lower than it should be. It is playable? Sure, but it is still lower than it should be.

Changing settings from min to max doesn't change a single thing for me, only the graphics, performance still the same. Even changing DLSS to ultra performance or setting any other upscaling method doesn't change anything beyond the graphics.

Nvidia driver 526.98

Is this a known issue? Is there any workaround?

Says who though? I’m not trying to be rude. Newer/modern games will always be more demanding. This COD is the best looking one yet, because of that it requires more power from your PC to render it. 100 fps is damn good for a game that looks this good with every graphic setting maxed out at 3440x1440p. I’m not complaining. Like I said, it runs smooth as butter for me.
Yeah i understand bro, it runs smooth. But independent of what you think, it's not running as it should, that is a fact. It only depends if you mind it or not, as i said 80 FPS on my rig is def not normal and i totally mind it, so i came here looking for a solution, if you think that your GPU, literally one of the best GPUs in the entire planet, is doing a good job running 100 FPS on this game then that's your choice.

Are you somewhat new to PC gaming? Because I’m curious when 100fps became a bad thing. Lol. Especially in a AAA game in 2022 with all possible graphics maxed out at 3440x1440p.

Posts like this happen everytime a new AAA game comes out. There’s always some people who think their god like PC from 2 years ago should run the game at 200+ fps. That’s just not the reality of PC gaming. I’m
Not saying a 3080 is bad. It obviously isn’t. But you can’t expect insane amounts of fps on a game that came out 2 years after your GPU was made (which is using technology from 1-2 years prior to that) I’ll say it again… every new game that comes out will push the limits of PC hardware, especially AAA titles. If you want higher fps, you need to adjust your graphic settings as such.

@homelander

Update your MoBo BIOS. I have AMD also and that improved my CPU performance a lot.

You said you didn't want to be rude but still you answer me with that tonality, and you didn't even read what i said before. I changed the graphics in all the possible combinations that the settings allow me to, the FPS doesn't stop averaging 80, it doesn't change a single thing, how will i adjust to get a better performance if adjusting the graphics doesn't change the performance? Tell me how am i supposed to do that?

Have you ever played RDR2? Cyberpunk? Horizon? even ARK which is a literal cluster**** of optimization and insane graphics i get higher frames than this. THERE IS something wrong, you gotta stop to think about all the facts i mentioned in this post and tell me if the performance i'm getting is expepcted behavior!

i7 9700K + 16GB RAM + 3080, ~180FPS on any map/situation.
1080p, no DLSS, very low graphics.
I use NVIDIA driver 526.86 tho

It's not a cpu bottleneck, I have r5 3600, rx 6700xt, 32gb ram, cpu 40% and the gpu goes from 85% to 30%-0% constantly at 1440p with a maximum of 70fps/80fps and then it drops , it doesn't make sense that this only happens in warzone 2 and not in battlefield V and rdr2, it's just bad optimization for ryzen, maybe a bios update will fix it.

This is an FPS game dude where the graphics are not the main thing, but the smooth gameplay, like in Overwatch 2 and Counter Strike along with Fortnite, these games are also moderately beautiful, aren't they? No need to compare Call Of Duty with RDR 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 benchmarks, these are completely different calibers

i noticed same issue long ago in beta ground war maps on my 3700x+2080 super setup.
i always had this issue in big maps of cod = verdansk, caldera and now the new map..its same story will all these maps i.e low GPU usage. then after lots of research i found out its the ryzen 3000 series thats not letting the GPU to perform at its true potential as i noticed same low gpu usage even in battlefield 2042.

i exchanged my 3700x to my editor friends 5600x and the results were clear now am sitting at 145fps in ground war at same place where i was getting 95fps in beta.

trust me and dont waste time trying to find a fix if you have a 3000 series processor, i have already tried everything and nothing works ..even my friend has 3900x and he gets low fps.

problem is the single core performance of this generation , even 8700k has much better single core performance compared to these processors.

if you are a warzone player , sell your 3000 series and buy 5000 series , you wont need to change anything as mobo is same for both just need a BIOS flash.
