The preload was a little more of 20gb on Battlenet.

In the game folder the size was around 18gb.

Now i'm downloading an update of 24gb.

We will see how much will be the game folder.

If this is the last download i can assume warzone 2 will be around max 50gb.

But there is the possibility the preload is highly compressed so who know.

We will see in some hours.

You have to download all of it first to find out how big it is.

Probably around 120GB if you have MW2. So it's big, even for todays standards. But I think it will depend on what you selected in the installer, like always.

The only doubt is if the 20gb preload is highly compressed and maybe this 20gb can become 40gb or more.

Well according to the product page we need 125gb storage minimum for the game.
However the way they merged MW2 and Warzone 2.0 into the same package has everyone confused about the asset size.

Pre-load for me was 23gigs and now I have another 16gigs to download. That's only 39gigs.
This means warzone 2 is 39gigs OR I will have more to download. Which is why its a mystery

It's not 39 gb, i also downloaded the game yesterday and did the 16.1gb update today, and the game folder is 22gb. What i think will happen is when the game launches, we will have a 60-80gb download on our hands.

I haved the same doubt on the product page.

But is copy pasted from modern warfare 2 steam page.

I lean to think is simple some lazy employee simple not cared of give the exact size of warzone 2.

At this point i doubt they can give us other thing to download.

Activision should give us to download all the files we need with this update.

If the game will not start after Preload and Update because we need to download something more, it's like they are trolling us.

I had got my copy of mw2 before WZ2.0

full game size before wz 2.0 launch - 84,7Gb
WZ 2.0 prepatch 16.11 - 53.4 Gb

Game with WZ2.0 in TOTAL after last update - 97.3 Gb

Game after delete all except WZ2 - 45.5 Gb

After the update the size of the Warzone 2 game folder is 23,7gb...

I can launch the game, obviously is all blocked.

Something is really strange with the size.

Probably activsion will troll us and make us download additional things when warzone 2 will be unlocked.
