Lol, it was released on PC first then other platforms later.
COD 1 & 2 were PC games played on keyboard and mouse. COD 2 got ported to 360 which did well then COD 4 the true final PC COD got ported to console and the franchise took off. Ever since MW 2 it's been purely a console game up until MW 2019.

Wrong, Call of Duty was released on PC first and took a while before any console got it, for a start the PS3 wasn't released until 2006 and the Xbox 360 wasn't released until 2005. Call of Duty was a PC game first in 2003.

Why is is so hard to understand that we just want to have fair matched and play with people using the same input device thus removing the debate of what device has the advantage?
Let mouse only play vs mouse and let aim assist only play vs aim assist, that sounds fair.
