TTK way too fast?

Is it me, or is the TTK is just outrageously quick? To a point where it's not fun. I dunno, I want to have gun fights and both sides can at least having a chance to turn on each other and shoot it out.

TTK seems pretty standard for CoD from what I remember of CoD4 and MW2. Faster than the Treyarch games for sure though.

Seems like the problems with inconsistent TTK are due to rounding errors because of the low tick rate, which has been a problem with CoD for years, hasn't it?

It has the base TTK of MW2 2009 pretty much so yeh. The Average TTK is just a tadbit faster due to the amount of customization etc. you have nowadays. But the Average is still pretty near the Old CoDs

Also keep in mind that TTK can feel odd sometimes due server connection etc.

I completely agree. The TTK is way too fast. I have played over 3,000 hours of Destiny 2 and Halo. I have a KDA of 2.5 in D2. I love FPS. COD MW2 though sucks due to the TTK. It isn't fun at all. If you YouTube "best weapons in MW2" every YouTubers basically says that the damage stat doesn't matter at all because the TTK is so fast on every gun. That is a problem. You die instantly from any gun (some guns literally one shot you even to the body). Not worth playing because it isn't fun imo.

No, one thing that i have disliked about COD over the years was how slow the TTK was in standard mode, its pretty much perfect now.

Tbh even MW RE has a faster TTK in normal you literally just 1 tap ppl

TTK it's generally very low, but it depends a lot on the weapon. Ever tried to use an m16? lol.

It simply isn't fun. You die in one shot from random people camping with no chance to defend yourself. There are a lot of people on Reddit and everywhere else who complain about the TTK being too fast. I have never even heard of the TTK being too fast as an issue for any other first-person shooter. Like Apex, Halo, D2, Valorant. People do not talk about it being an issue with other games. It is too fast in COD MW2 that is why a lot of players complain about it being an issue.

why are you comparing d2 when d2 give u like 2 health bars

Its still little bit to slow. We are waiting for hardcore server.

I like it the way it is right now. Way better than having to mag dump someone to kill them. Past cods I've always played hardcore because ttk felt too slow in core. Like, having to shoot someone 10 times with a pistol is crazy when most people run full auto weapons.

The bad netcode makes the TTK frustrating. You're either winning the 1v1s or you have no chance in 1v1s based on netcode.

Infinity Ward typically goes for quicker TTK. Slower TTK is more of a Treyarch thing now. Especially evident in BO4 and Cold War.
