Anyone else immediately mute the entire match?
People don't know how to use their mic

So many games it sounds like they're just sucking on the mic, or their TV is loud in the background or they're breathing like like a wounded walrus

I do it 3/5 games. When I hear intensive breathing, scratching, making funny noises it is insta mute.

I have voice chat turned off entirely because of this. Most console players seem to have a caved in forehead when it comes to mic usage

Another reason why we need a crossplay toggle

console players seem brain dead always with a hot-mic so I always mute

The first thing I did when I bought the game was turn off voice chat in the audio settings.

Mostly just jerks. And oh my gawd this game of is full of little boys who cry cheat or broke game every time they die. Those are worst and instantly muted after the third game is broke or they are cheating comment.

Its a must in most modes and especially Ground War. In my 30 hours with the game , I havent heard a single person saying anything strategic that pertains to the game. Listening to squeakers, people shouting the "N" word with no context, Insults, arguing, people having personal conversations with the people sitting next to them, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ music, screaming children in the background and mouth breathers has lost its charm years ago.

I will usually mute each player making ambient noise individually before gameplay begins. Though in all situations so far, I may as well have hit mute all.

Nobody plugs their headsets in to be social or tactical in a lobby full of randoms that they will never see again 10 minutes from now. I am one of those randoms. I have exclusively solo queued and I realistically see it being that way for the majority of my time with this game.

The other reason I should probably hit 'mute all' is so that it will also silence the other teams members during that brief post-game moment.

I think the only reason I do it the way I do is on the off-chance that I actually do hear someone that I want to hear. If someone with a microphone has an idea and are nice about it, I would usually be happy to go along with it.

yeah i mute all except friends list in settings. Why would I wanna hear some random nobody on a game? lol. It's usually some nerd trying to be gangsta on a 20$ mic sounding like a squirrel, a kid with 24/7 Q'd mic on console or complainer.

I think it's open mic by default too so most of the time they have no idea they can be heard
